Come & Play an Instrument Open Day Sat 22 May 2027

The Annual Ealing Junior Music School (EJMS) “Come and Play an Instrument Open Day”, where we throw open the EJMS Instrument Cupboard doors, will be on Saturday 22 May 2027 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. (Poster below to be updated.)

FREE ENTRY at Twyford C of E School Acton W3
FREE PARKING at Twyford School’s Sports Centre.

A wonderful opportunity for youngsters aged 3 to 18 to “have a go” on a musical instrument. From Trumpets, Horns, and Trombones to Oboes, Bassoons, Violins, Violas, Cellos, Double Bass to Flutes, Saxophones, Clarinets & Drums Percussion, your children can try them all with expert help from the EJMS music teachers & wonderful students. Loads of Stickers to collect!

Our legendary Musicianship Classes which are fun musical foundation groups for children aged 3-9, will be having hands-on drop in Workshops, so something to do for the whole Family. Refreshments are on sale, no booking is needed, just turn up on the day.

All are welcome, but please be aware that instrumental lessons at EJMS are for children aged 5+.

NB. EJMS does NOT teach piano or keyboard.

EJMS Autumn Term 2026

28th November 2026 1st

EJMS has now closed for the summer and re-starts on 12 September 2026.

Another exciting term ended with two wonderful concerts in St Barnabas Church. I am sure you enjoyed them as much as i did.

You should receive your timetable shortly before the start of the term. Please do carefully check the timetable as some lesson times are likely to change as students move onto different ensembles. Please contact Janine Neye if you have a query re the timetable. The invoices will follow about a week or so later. Aurelia Brambley is the person to contact if you have a query about the Invoice.

The latest Chairman’s Newsletter will be issued some time in September. Please do read it in full, as it will contain a lot of important information.

Half-Term break. There will be no EJMS on 24th and 31st October 2026 – two Saturdays off.

The Recital Concert will take place on 14th November 2026 at 7.00pm in the Twyford Chapel.

End of Term Concerts. Our end of term concerts will take place in the Twyford Performance Centre on 28th November 2026 at 2.15pm and 3.30pm. The last day of term is also on 28th November 2026.

EJMS 25th Anniversary

Last year Ealing Junior Music School celebrated 25 years anniversary.

EJMS trustees, staff, friends of EJMS and founders would like to thank all involved, past and present, for making this charity one of the most satisfying learning music environments available.

We aim to achieve confidence and progression on all levels in music from early years to young adults. Please join us and make the next 25 years, more of the same.

School Parking

School Parking – Important Notice

All cars must enter the Twyford site through the Uxbridge Road entrance (by the Sports Hall). There is very limited Parking Space and so if you can park on the surrounding streets or come to EJMS by any other means then please do so. Please be considerate to others as parking is at your own risk!

FREE Bursary Places
